I'm an astrophysicist studying supermassive black holes by watching how they change over time.
Using massive time-domain surveys, I search for supermassive black hole binaries and characterize AGN and quasar variability. I have a particular fondness for hypervariable targets, where the weirder the light curve, the better. Much of my work involves building fast, computationally inexpensive analysis pipelines to find them.
